My stay in India is about four months and I used Hotel Ajanta for my first two weeks to get in touch with New Delhi. Everything was fine airport pickup, room was clean, service friendly and everybody helped me with my first steps..

I really recommend this place; it's safe and you are able to reach any place of importance within minutes.

After staying in Delhi for four weeks in October 2005, I want to recommend the Ajanta Hotel in Arakashan Road, Paharganj as an excellent mid range hotel. The rooms are clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant offers a good variety of Indian and western food (Veg. Thali) and there are internet facility for Rs. 30/- per hour.

The rooms are about Rs. 1125 (A/c) and Rs. 750/- (Non A/c).

I, Jan Hapfuther, a medical student, stayed in the Ajanta Hotel, Delhi for 25 days during my elective at the Indraparstha Apollo Hospital. The rooms in the hotel are spotlessly clean and the staff is very friendly and helpfully. There is a small restaurant in the hotel where they serve delicious Indian and continental food. The prices are reasonable, also for the internet facility.

I enjoyed my stay at the Ajanta Hotel and would recommend it to all people coming to Delhi.

I am sorry, because I am Spanish and my English is not good enough. This is my eighth visit to India and my sixth visit to Ajanta Hotel. It is very well placed for my purpose; near New Delhi Railway Station, near Connaught Place and near, but not so much, of Paharganj.

It has a very good quality / price relation and the staff is very friendly.

The hotel has its own Travel Agency which can provides you every type of information, tickets and tours.

This letter is to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay at your hotel (Ajanta). The staff was particularly helpful and friendly. We also enjoyed the food frame your buffet (Loved the ice Cream!) Access to the internet was very practical. Thank you for our time here.

I had an excellent stay at hotel Ajanta. During my seven weeks in India, I used Hotel Ajanta like a homebase--coming and going often as well as storing a small bag in the storage room. I found the staff to be extremely helpful and polite. The restaurant was superb. The prices were fair and the staff very honest. The rooms were clean and tidy, not fancy or five star, but comfortable and clean, which was what I was looking for.

The pickup and drop-off service was excellent as well. I took a number of extra cards home with me and will recommend the hotel to friends I know who are going to India. One thing to note is that it was extremely nice to be able to store a bag in the hotel for a few weeks and not lug it around India. This was a service that I particularly was grateful for and would recommend that the hotel not do away with this.
